The row over the salaries for the Constitution Implementation Commission team has taken another twist, with the government digging in and providing official documentation to back its claims that the CIC's salary demands were exorbitant. The government made public a circular detailing how much constitution office holders should earn. The circular indicates that the CIC Chairman Charles Nyachae should earn a total of over 840,000 shillings instead of the 1.3 million shillings being demanded. But former shadow finance minister Billow Kerrow wants the government to come clean on the matter alleging that there was politics behind the CIC team's woes. Abdi Osman reports.
